Porcelain veneers are thin and semi-translucent laminates that bond permanently to your teeth. Porcelain veneers are used treat gaps or spaces between the front teeth, broken teeth, permanently stained or discolored teeth or cracked teeth. The procedure requires only two visits. Each visit may take 60 to 90 minutes.
On a first visit, we prepare your teeth and take a bite impression. We then send the impression to a dental lab and custom make the porcelain veneer. Meanwhile, we use the impression to fabricate beautiful temporary veneers to simulate your new smile. On your second appointment, we attach the permanent porcelain veneers to the natural teeth.
